I love him like High School

It's Tuesday again.
So I get to talk about my feelings.
Which should be good, because I have been feeling good?

Whatever. It feels weird to just sit down and force myself to be aware of "feelings" but I do think it is a good thing.

I finally got to finish the Harry Potter movies, and that seemed to be quite a task, geez not only is every movie super long to find them available in order at the libraries was a bit of a challenge.
What.
I have feelings about Harry Potter.
So?

Also I got a hold of the Twilight movies and have number 3 in my hot little hand so I have been feeling pretty good about that. And who knew Charlie would love Twilight movies just as much if not even more than me?
Ahem.
It has reminded me of how crazy I love him.
Which can be lost on the monotonous drudgery and self deprived delight of parenthood.
I mean, when we were dating, it was, ummm, on.
I had no doubt into week 1 of knowing him that he was the one. The only.
I loved him like High School.
I loved him like WHOA.
He couldn't have been more perfect for me if he had been made from my own heart's desire.

Sometimes those days are hard to remember when we are competing for who won't respond to the grabby little ingrates that are whining in stereo how their "needs" must be met.
Not that they aren't cute.
But you may have noticed we didn't keep on having babies.
I digress.

When Charlie and I broke up for a couple of months in the 1st year we dated, I was lost without him. I was so lovesick it was embarrassing. I am actually embarrassed to admit it even now that I have pledged my life to him.
Years ago.

Especially since it wasn't like I was a high school girl.
In a movie.
With a script.
I was a 32 year old adult.
With pigtails.

My point is, I am super hot for my husband.
Like, Twilight hot for him.

And I wish the kids would leave us alone so we could make out.

  1. Love you "40 dead hookers" baby. And, you should probably qualify why I like the twilight movies as much as you do. It certainly isn't for their cinematic value. Totally unrelated, I truly believe there is quite an internet market for vampire porn.

he gets when i watch twilight movies.
you know, if you couldn't tell that was what i was alluding to in the post.

  3. That explanation is less embarrassing than the perception that I like the story.
